Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
BT Leadership & Compliance Consultants ("BTLCC," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013) ("POPIA").

Information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us directly. This site does not automatically harvest personal data through hidden tracking.
When you submit our consultation booking form, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Your preferred consultation date and time (a scheduling preference, not a confirmed booking)
- The details of your enquiry, as written in the message field
How we use your information
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, confirm a consultation, and provide our services to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party. We will not share it beyond BTLCC without your consent, except where required by law.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tools on this site.
- Fonts: This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts' servers. Loading a font involves your browser making a request to Google, which means your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request, in the same way it would be for any external resource. Google's font service does not set cookies.
- WhatsApp: The WhatsApp button on this site links out to WhatsApp. Once you click it, you leave our site and WhatsApp's (Meta's) own privacy policy applies to that conversation, not ours.
If this ever changes — for example, if we add analytics in future — we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Where your information is stored
Consultation booking form submissions are processed and stored via Netlify Forms, our website hosting provider's built-in form-handling service. Submissions are accessible only to BTLCC through a password-protected dashboard, and are also forwarded to our email inbox so we can respond to you.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate information
- Request that we delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or contractual reasons
- Object to how your information is being processed
- Lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe your rights under POPIA have been infringed
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@btlcc.co.za.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the services or tools this website uses change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
